We were recommended by a family member with this next client. They live out in Grande Prairie which was our second project in this city. After meeting with the client, we definitely got their story regarding their space. They have lived there for nearly 25 years and it was definitely time for a change especially their kitchen space. The wife was the one that spends all the time in there cooking for her husband along with several grandkids and entertaining their own kids. The kitchen definitely lacked counter space for prepping and the lack of function the kitchen had for entertaining or cooking for a large group was also lacking.

During our consultation, they also wanted to re-style the main floor by keeping some of their pieces and add to it to update the look. We also changed the locations of the family room and dining room to make more of a better flow. So, this was going to be another renovation to update their space.

When we presented them with 2 great options it was a go with this project, and it didn’t take long for them to decide since they were ready to move forward with something new.

Hired a great team to contract this project and also used local businesses in Calgary for some furnishings and kitchen design. All in all, the project went smoothly even with the distance I was able to get daily communication from my contractor and do onsite visits periodically when I was able to travel.

Our client was away for the entire summer that made it easy for my contractor and myself to solve problems together unless the client was needed to make some decisions. When they arrived back from their summer cabin, they had a brand-new main floor that blew them away and exceeded their expectations. When you are able to give the trust and leap of faith then this is how the project ends up.
