A past client of mine mentioned that she forwarded my name to her dearest friends up in Aspen. They were in need of a painting consultation since they wanted to update the interior of their home.

After several months later I had the privilege to hear from them and wanted to do a consultation with me. Sometimes when you’re not quite ready it might take months in order to really know you’re ready and that is so understandable. When we work with new clients, we want them to be all onboard and not slighting sitting on the fence.

I met up with the couple along with their 2 beautiful girls. We instantly had a connection with them, and I was excited to actually work with this family. After doing a walk through their absolutely beautiful home. It definitely needed an update to paint the entire house top to bottom. That being said I suggested other things to be updated and they were all ears. Their kitchen was stunning, but the color of the cabinets didn’t do it justice along with all the cabinets in their bathrooms. Funny to say the wife didn’t like her kitchen either and I told her we could fix it and have her love it again without breaking the bank and doing up a new kitchen design.

Although we were only there for a paint consultation, we told them that we could present them with all the changes we suggest doing since painting can definitely take a whole new effect in a home, but other things will still be dated. We put together a presentation for suggestions on all the changes we would like to do to their home. They were so open and even styling their place to keep what they had and to take out things that we could incorporate to bring some newness and an updated style mixed into their own existent pieces.

Once they were onboard things started very quickly. The entire house top to bottom was painted along with an accent color that would make some of the structural character pop, wallpapered certain rooms, found new pieces to incorporate with their existing pieces, accessories, update all lighting throughout, painted out kitchen cabinets and vanities in all bathrooms and all the finish touches, of course, made the space come together.

We were so proud of how things turned out and the client was literally blown away. When you think of re-doing your home it’s not always about clearing everything out but how we can actually work with what you have and either add or minus things out to update your space.
