GP Wild Project

This client was recommended by a family member who lived out in Grande Prairie. One of our first clients in this city and a bit different for us since it was a different demographic, but we were up for the challenge.

The client built his house just over 25 years ago and had put some great details into his house but as the years went by the house got dated. So, they called us to help him to update his entire main floor. When we met with the client for a consultation, he had so much character and instantly had a great connection with him.

He was open to what we were going to re-design his space, but he didn’t want to lose the character he tried to achieve when he built the house many years ago. When we were finally able to put some great design options for him, we had gone back to meet him to do his full presentation. Overwhelmed? Yes, he was having some difficulty being able to choose the direction but with our help and guidance, he was able to choose the direction of the design.

We hired a contractor and was able to start the job with our vision and directions. We had to source everything locally in Calgary and have it all shipped out to GP.

Everything including his new furnishing and accessories was shopped locally in Calgary and my team and I drove it all the way to GP. Now that is full service.

After a 5 day install with my team our client was out of the house during our installation. After the renovations were complete by my contractor, we did our finish touches, installed all the new furniture, and with my painter team they painted the entire main floor including some feature walls.

When we did the reveal for our client along with his 50+ guest list it was one of the biggest reveals we have done to date. It was a full house to see what we had done during the 3 or so months of work. It was something to remember and was a success since the client was just overwhelmed with the changes and he was over the moon. This is why we love what we do and it’s about the end results and during the process of it all it didn’t matter with hiccups. That was history and we finished at the finish line with a win.
